HOW TO MAKE AN ORIGAMI FLICK FOOTBALL

So this is my first, real post for the blog and the first origami it is gonna be really easy just read the instructions

ORIGAMI FLICK FOOTBALL(TUTORIAL)

 

MATERIALS NEEDED:-

Paper(A4 is recommended but any rectangular paper would do)

                                  PART 1

STEP 1:-  Take your sheet of paper and keep it in a landscape way.Then do a mountain fold downwards and then crease it when it is perfectly aligned.

STEP 2:-  Fold it again the same way and crease it again(making the paper a bit thicker).

STEP 3:-  Now fold the paper in half the other (that is, fold it towards your left).

STEP 4:-  Make sure to round off the edge before creasing if not it won't come out well.Once you have  done that crease it well.    

STEP 5:-  Now fold it downwards on the crease that you have made and crease that as well.

STEP 6:-  Now make another crease over the first one that you made in STEP 5.

And now PART 1 of the origami flick football is complete.

                                        PART 2

STEP 1:-  Fold the flap on the left (of your unfinished football) backwards and the crease it.

It will look like this after you are done

STEP 2:-  Tuck the tiny flap you just made into the pocket you made in PART 1 .

STEP 3:-   Now fold the paper down on the pocket that you made (you will notice that you have almost  folded a square).

STEP 4:-  Once you have done that fold the excess part (if you have any) on the same square-like thing making it look almost like an envelope and then crease it.

STEP 5:-  Now open it up till it looks like the end result of STEP2(PART 2) and then fold back on the 
crease you made in STEP 4.

STEP 6:-  You are almost done....So now tuck this part in to the pocket to make it look almost like an uneven diamond (or sometimes a rhombus).

STEP 7:-  Now for the final fold tuck the thinner part of the diamond or rhombus into the pocket and  flatten it all up and make sure it looks like a triangle.You are finally DONE!!!

So it is really easy to flick this football and there are two ways to do it:-

NO. 1:-  Keep your fingers on the red spots and flick it on the yellow cross for farther distance(this  method is recommended).

NO. 2:-  Keep the football to the ground and the flick on the black circle for farther distance(this is usually for flicking on the ground).

If you are don't wanna follow either of these methods (that is if you are not jobless to figure out which part is what) then ,  JUST THROW IT LIKE A NINJA STAR.         

This is probably the most easiest origami (except for the part that I make it sound long and boring, it is pretty easy and it would be way faster if you would learn how to do it) and about 95% of you would get it in the first shot.Just some more days for the next post till then HAVE FUN!!!
